ADVANTAGE SOUTH WEST HAS appointed ALTAIR to work with us to develop and deliver a solution for increasing the availability of new homes built using “modern methods of construction”. With expectations that traditional new build costs will increase with a reduction in the number of people in the construction industry we have to look at alternative ways of building homes. With Altair we will identify a small number of solutions to deliver new homes in an initial project to which LiveWest, NDH, Ocean and Yarlington have committed up to 400 properties. The goal is to have a delivery mechanism that will improve quality, increase capacity and mitigate price increases.
