Advantage South West has launched a new Dynamic Purchasing System for Scaffolding Services.
A Dynamic Purchasing System is like an approved supplier list except that it has been through an OJEU advertising process. Companies can apply to get on to the DPS at any time so those who missed the initial advertisement are not disadvantaged. For this reason there is no restriction as to how long a DPS can be in place: this one is for 10 years. During this period we will be using our www.advantagesouthwestsuppliers.co.uk portal to monitor companies’ insurance, H&S and professional accreditations.
At launch there are eight companies on the DPS:
- ADK Scaffolding Ltd
- Avalon Scaffolding Ltd
- Ledger Scaffolding Ltd
- Pen Mill Scaffolding (Hire & Sales) Ltd
- Rapid Scaffolding (SW) Ltd
- Scaffolding South West Ltd
- Taw & Torridge Scaffolding Ltd
- TJR Scaffolding Ltd
Each company works in specific postcode areas, these are detailed in the Framework Brochure which is available from www.advantagesouthwest.co.uk.
To compliantly access the DPS landlords must run mini-competitions to the companies that can operate in the relevant postcode areas.
